THE WHEELS
It is inarguably a progeny of fallacy for a man to think of himself as an independent wheel to his destination. This calibre of people will get nowhere. Meanwhile, since ages began - no man has ever risen by himself. Outrightly none! This is but a definite truism considered indisputable. Irrespective of how gifted you are, the guts of like-minded souls envisage the ladder to your greatness i.e you need the assistance of someone to get you to your Dreamland; without which fulfilment will be hard if not impossible.
TALENT IS ONE PERCENT
Our world is full of countless dying Stars whose rising each hinges on just one person's endorsement to get to the spotlight, but unlucky of these destiny-helping hands. If not hallucinating, we may assume the majority of these unlucky human are somehow way better off than many of those we celebrate in our world today. Indeed, a dash of fate that never ceases to exist in the human course. Which is a proof that talent is never enough.
THE PARADIGMS
I tell no tale going by my reference of an acquittance of mine who only believed in his skills and God, thereby portraying a defiant attitude towards men and women of relevance who could at one time or the other skyrocket his life. As he is fond of saying, "I only rely on my skills and God." Period! In other words, he accords negligence to certain assistants from people. Right now even as the nib of my pen does justice to the leaves, he struggles in the thickets still - due to this progress retrograding mindset of his.
On his accord, he recounted a few opportunities that had slipped off his hands in the past. These were advances from people very close to him. And this was the cause: he is fond of disengaging his mobile number at regular intervals which impedes those who intend to get across to him and hardly does he picks calls, for ambiguous reasons explicit to him. But instead, prefer doing the calling at his own convenience.
THE INDULGENCE AND THE CONSEQUENCE
He disclosed two accounts of two different persons who needed him at one point in time to his favour, but couldn't get in touch with him as a result of this contagious habit of his. And these were people he had once helped in the past. One, was a gateman who hit a fortune of 40 million by sheer luck and being cognizant of his competence in online businesses, he sorted for him by all means possible so that he could invest this fortune, but unfortunately, could not get in touch. It was a few years later that he showed up, but then the money had gone down the drain. The gateman could not account for something substantial with the fortune in the long run. He recounted his unsuccessful attempt to get at him at the time he hit the fortune. As you might have thought, the news was an heavy blow on him.
His second account was a woman he usually helps in rectifying issues affecting her computer system. At the time this woman was intending to go abroad, Dubai to be precise. She sorted for this amorphous acquaintance of mine in a bid to do him a favour, which perhaps, could have envisaged a momentous turning point in his life, but couldn't get him, not even on his usual mobile number. It was this same gateman that recounted the story of this woman searching for him.
DEFIANT STILL
As if these breaches were not enough to rip him off his thinko and his naivety, he hasn't stopped disengaging his mobile line and ignoring calls, which could assumably be fortune telling. On this ill mannerism have I on considerable times castigated him, but still would not heed a listening ear. He lives far away, though.
A TAKEAWAY
To sum it up, undermining men - most especially the relevant gems, capable of installing life and meaning into your being and purpose is one deplorable harm you would ever incur on yourself.
